About Inspire Performing Arts

Red Stage Curtains

Inspire Performing Arts was born from a simple truth: art flourishes where community, courage, and joy come together.

IPA Founders, Debi Kilde and Amanda Weis— met while doing what they love most: performing, chatting, singing, connecting with new people, and having fun along the way. Their shared passion quickly grew into a meaningful partnership. Both serve the Jewish Community Show Choir at the JCC in Highland Park, St. Paul, Minnesota, where Debi is the founder and Amanda has acted as Music Director for the past two years.

Through their work with the show choir, Debi and Amanda witnessed firsthand the power of a nurturing, inclusive environment. They saw how people thrive when they are supported, challenged, and encouraged to grow — regardless of background, experience level, or age and how music builds confidence, how storytelling builds connection, and how community builds courage.

They knew the Twin Cities needed more spaces like that

Our Purpose

Inspire Performing Arts was created to offer:

  • Excellence for every artist, no matter their starting point

  • Real education grounded in experience, technique, and artistry

  • A challenging yet nurturing environment where people feel safe to shine

Our Values

Our Commitment

At Inspire Performing Arts, students don’t just learn music. They find their voice, build confidence, and celebrate with a newfound community that cheers them on every step of the way.

This is a place where artistry and belonging meet, where people grow as performers and as humans and where every individual is invited to shine.

Our Vision

We believe in lifelong learners — people who step in front of others, sometimes for the very first time, and discover the thrill of becoming storytellers through music. We believe in celebrating each artist’s unique spark. And we believe that performing arts should be a place where everyone feels welcome, valued, and inspired.
